About me

I am passionate about working with people to cope with the difficulties that they experience in their lives. Working directly with the needs of the individual, I facilitate and enable them to make any changes that they need, or to cope with any difficulties that cannot be altered or changed.

I have volunteered and worked in the third sector (Charity) for over 20 years. I have worked with teenagers and adults with a plethora of difficulties, including (but not limited to):

I am compassionate, empathetic and will always treat you as an equal. With a background in Person Centred Counselling, I adhere to the core beliefs of
congruency (honesty), treating you with unconditional positive regard (not judging you) and empathy (seeing your struggles from your perspective).

I strongly believe in creating a trusting professional relationship with those that I work with. I aim to equip you with new tools and coping mechanism, in order support you to live your life more resourcefully, coping with the stresses and difficulties that you face more effectively.
